I ordered a sword from valaryian steel. I asked for it to be sent Canada post and they sent ir ups instead. I wanted economy shipping for a reason. Overnight carriers are more expensive rarely fast enough to mske tge price difference worth it and they charge OUTRAGEOUS fees just to carry your package across the border. Something that is free or nearly free to do as an individual. But fine whatever they were probably trying to be nice or something. What I can not forgive is what UPS did. First of all they would not clear my package from customs till I paid their stupid fee so I did and I also authorised them to charge the Gst so they could just leave it with my roomate. They charged my accont but apparently forgot to remove the you paid our fees sticker from my package. As a result the driver refused to surrender my package to my roommate. There was one day this week, the schedualed delivery date, that someone was going to be home to recieve the package. Because of UPS inadequacy I now have to wait at least another 4 days for my package. Apparently it will take up to 3 busness days to remove that sticker and no they have no way of contacting the driver. No they cant drop my package off at the ups center for pickup unless I can compulsively watch their tracking website (which has not been giving me updates) all day and call right after delivery atept is made then naybe tgey can get it set for pick up. As if I have time to do that. I work everyday for odins sake that’s why I wasnt there to recive the package in the first place yet you think I can watch an iregularily updating website all day? AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT. Seriously you folks need to do some upgrading on your systems or somthing because when I take the time to organize payment so I can actually get my package delivered when and where I want it and you take my money then don’t give a record of that transaction to the person responsible for giving me my package and taking my payment?! UNACCEPTABLE! canada post would have been faster cheaper and would have brought my package to the post office for pickup.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WOLVES AND RAVENS

Ravens and wolves form social attachments with each other and take huge advantage of each other.

Both animals eat meat. When wolves killed a prey, ravens eat from the left over cadaver and scavenge it. Also, ravens lead wolves to preys or cadavers. The ravens fly and the wolves follow. Ravens also alert wolves to dangers.

They also play with each other. For example the ravens dive at the wolves and then speed away or peck their tails to try to get the wolves to chase them, or wolf cubs chasing after teasing ravens.

Dr. L. David Mech wrote in ‘The Wolf: The Ecology and Behaviour of an Endangered Species’: “It appears that the wolf and the raven have reached an adjustment in their relationships such that each creature is rewarded in some way by the presence of the other and that each is fully aware of the other’s capabilities.”

Also very interesting: Bernd Heinrich wrote in ‘Mind of the Raven: Investigations and Adventures with Wolf-Birds’: “Ravens can be attracted to wolf howls. The wolves’ howls before they go on a hunt, and it is a signal that the birds learn to heed. Conversely, wolves may respond to certain raven vocalizations or behavior that indicate prey. The raven-wolf association may be close to a symbiosis that benefits the wolves and ravens alike. At a kill site, the birds are more suspicious and alert than wolves. The birds serve the wolves as extra eyes and ears.”
